Rory's Birthday

For Rory's birthday, we went to Main Event in Knoxville with our friends Bremen and Gavin. They had a laser tag arena, ropes course, and an arcade. We spent most of the time playing laser tag and attempting the ropes courses. Since they were less crowded in the morning we were there at 10:00 right as they opened. We got to have the whole place to ourselves for about an hour. We had so much fun that we didn't even keep score in laser tag. But I'm pretty sure that I did the ropes course the most. But alas all this came at a cost. They were blasting the most horrible crappy music ever, and they weren't very environmentally friendly, because they would always give you new receipts to tell you what time your activities are at when they could just tell you. But all in all, we had a good time.

Knoxville Skatepark

 My brother Rory and I went to the Knoxville skatepark. Rory was all excited because it was the day before his birthday. This was the first time I had ridden my BMX bike in 2 months. Below are some pictures of Rory and I. The reason we went was actually that we were going to go to the Oak Ridge skatepark with our friends Bremen and Gavin but they weren't able to go so we ended up going to the Knoxville skatepark instead. That skatepark is such a cool place but the only downside is that it reeks of cigarettes.

Wednesday Night Race at Meades Quarry

This is from the first Wednesday night mtb race at Meades Quarry in Tennessee, which started a 6:15 pm.  In this picture, I am with my friends Henry, Elijah, Parks, Harlen. A guy named Chris and his family put on the race. The categories were grouped by age and speed. I am in the 12 to 14 category even though I am only eleven. It is a fun experience and you get extra practice and you get to make new friends with each race. By the way, I am third overall in points standings and I hope Henry doesn't catch up to me.
